“Rainy days should be spent at home with a cup of tea and a good book.”

― Bill Watterson, The Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Book

‘Cosy Hot Cocoa on a Dark, Rainy Evening’

The steam rises up from the cup and embraces the cooling air surrounding it. Swirling creamy browns mixing with sweet marshmellows create a cauldron of colours of warm tones that reflect the warming effect after taking a sip. The rain pours itself against the windows, it’s rhythmic patter fills the night-time air. The concept behind this design was to capture the hygge-like nature a cosy hot chocolate can bring while the rain streams against window panes.

“A rich steam rose and he took a sip. Sweetness flooded his tongue, followed by cream, sugar, spices, chocolate finer than anything he had ever tasted, dark and bitter and delicious.”

― Laura Madeleine, The Confectioner's Tale
