Our Philosophy

Similar to art pieces in a museum, Seraphim&Sapphire designs and crafts products that will only exist for a short period of time.

Only making 1000 pieces of each design means you will own an exclusive work of art, not just a mass produced item, that will be one of kind for generations. We decided on this in order to keep originality fresh and vibrant. For mass produced items, you can easily find the same design replicated continously. There is nothing inherently wrong with this, but we believe that individuality and unique designs perfectly match the complexities of human personalities and characters, as well as the possibilities of what we can create!

Each piece is fuelled with inspiration and imagination, giving it a unique and unusual story; a meaning and the journey the piece has taken.

Yet its up the person receiving it to add their own meaning, through experiences, memories, moments. Our art is designed to be a time capsule of memories and experiences, not souless objects.

Seraphim&Sapphire isn’t about the products or the items themselves, but about the story and meaning behind them. Unlike mass manufacturing, where each piece is identical, our designs are made so that no two are alike, making each of our art pieces truly one of a kind. You won’t be able to find our designs within big shops. We focus on the intricaties of items being handcrafted, as the connection between the maker and made is something a machine can never achieve

Our Inspiration

A lot of brands are able to give a time and date in which their products are completed. However, here are Seraphim&Sapphire, we not able to predict an exact delivery date due to a number of factors. For each order, everything is hand done from the start to end: the packing, the letter, the product. This ultimately means our process is slower but more meaningful and intentional. We kindly ask for a little bit of patience when waiting for your order. Sometimes waiting is part of the process and excitement, almost like Christmas Eve!

We spend time making sure everything is up to standard instead of just sending it as soon as possible to you. This may make delivery times a bit longer but this not only allows us to be extremely thorough in our process but it also falls in line with our value of integrity. Our brand is founded on the old fashioned ways and traditions of craftmanship, postage and delivery. This helps keep our values and you at the forefront of the process.

With hand-drawing, you’re able to grasp the initial connection of ideas and concepts, but it isn’t until the process has begun that the item itself will start to tell you what it wants to be. Longevity and durablity are key aspects in designing an item, making sure they last against the wear and tear of the world.
