'The Blue Pool on a Summers day'
Hibiscus flower shaped earrings, in cold porcelain. Dried naturally in the sun, infused with a Dorset Blue Ink and imprinted with a natural limestone texture.
Notes of fresh pine, fresh still water, del monte ice cream, mature sunlight, afternoon naps, lamentations of the algea (michael levy), and aquamarine.
Soliders of pines guard the edges of the pool. Deep, aquamarine waters mimic a portal to another world, the ripples of the surface entice any onlooker, any animal, to dip their toes in. Crisp sunlight and a woody aromas entangle with each other into the air, held, suspended in a dance of the intimacy of Summer. The glassy surface shifts uneasily into hues of varied blues, it’s a moment of subtle tranquility captured in the rivets of the Earth.
We only handcraft 1000 of each for this series.
Each earring is individually handcrafted from start to finish so no two are identical, although will appear similar.
We use Florence, Italian, Porcelain Clay for a lightweight, natural and organic feel.
Original Jurassic / limestone texture for an elegant, minimalistic design that is easily adaptable.

The pieces will naturally shine themselves through the oils of your skin but if it needs an extra TLC then we’ve included a free silver cloth, just incase. Colours and shape will have slight variations to the images on the website, as well as between each set, as we handcraft the sets individually every time. Although they repel water due to the gloss-varnish, we would not advise wearing our pieces in the shower, or the sea / anything similar, as this can soften the clay over time.
